Colossians 1:14

Colossians 1:14 ESV
in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.

Paul did an excellent job in the opening portion of Colossians. I am sure the “troops” were encouraged and riled up with excitement about the letter. What a positive and uplifting opening that Paul afforded to them!
EVERYONE: re-write the verse in your own words to reflect the universal truth that applies to EVERYONE.
Jesus has redeemed us and through Him our sins are forgiven.
PRESENT: what does this verse mean to you and how should you apply it today in the PRESENT.
Thank you Jesus for forgiving my sins and giving me redemption! This is a truth that I can not fully understand but I will accept with all my heart. I desire to walk in your ways and uphold your commands. I know I mess up at times, but how beautiful it is that I am forgiven by You! The Almighty Creator of the universe!
