A man is walking his dog down the sidewalk of a busy and fast moving street. As cars are whizzing by at 60 miles per hour the dog is anxiously straining and struggling against his leash. He is pulling the owner along and is walking at close to a 45 degree angle almost choking itself to death trying to move faster and go in the direction he wants. The owner knows better than to let his dog off the leash. The dog is ignorant to the fact that only inches away is certain and grizzly death. How often do we struggle and fight and strain against God’s direction? If we would only relax and enjoy his guidance we would not feel the choke nor get into the nasty mess we often find ourselves.
